INTRO
Despite the building’s age, the unit was purchased for its proximity to the children’s schools & south-east facing orientation.
A series of conversations with the young family led to a shared vision to replace the outdated architecture with “youth” & “elegance”, in the triangulated layout.
This led to the conceptualization of the “Cloud Ceilink”.

Efficiently laid out bedrooms capture the serenity views neatly tucked away from the communal “public” spaces along the main passageway achieving privacy yet allowing social interactions.
CONCEPT
Cloud Ceilink
Achieving beyond expectations with the fluidity concept of “Cloud Ceilink”, far exceeded our client’s prerequisite requirements for “an additional toilet and more light” but a result of a modernised and timeless home

The new plan arrangement improves the spatial quality of the internal rooms.
Floating above, the “Cloud Ceilink” visually connects the house with its organic form. Designed to conceal the unsightly low-beams, it glows via integrated LED lights, providing a sense of calmness.

Despite the awkwardly small triangulated floor plate, additional Living/Dining/Study rooms and ensuite bathrooms were created with efficient replanning while optimizing views, daylighting and cross ventilation
Transforming problems into delightful solution. A circular glass floor display at main entrance was created out of the necessity to house services across the new layout
