INTRO
Located at a corner, within rows of GCBs, overlooking the city skyline.A total of 4.5 storeys house was designed in Section as much on Plan, utilizing its long rectangular site and stepped terrain. Appearing to be a 2 ½ storey structure from the main road that gradually extends down 2 storeys at the back.
Facing East-West, the geometric 3D Green Facades wrap around the crown of the house, providing shade and passive cooling into the house. Facades also provided a level of privacy from the main road.

CONCEPT
The Green Lungs
The internal layout was planned to encourage family cohesion with maximized external views towards the garden & swimming pool, located at the lowest terrain.

All bedrooms were connected via external balconies. Bathroom skylights were introduced to give a soft touch to the space and reduce need for artificial lights.
Through the internal “living lungs”, cool air is ventilated throughout the house via an Air-well garden (with water features). The air-wells’ stack effect was designed to draw hot air from the basement upwards into the louvered skylight on the roof top.
