Winning City Campus Design Competition for Singapore’s 3rd autonomous university.

CONCEPT
Learning within a Park
The campus is porous, allowing interaction between learning and community while remaining connected to nature and redefining the university experience.

180-degree view
A combination of Unitized curtain wall, Frameless glass walls, and Cast-glass frames are used amongst the buildings like the School of Business. Different glass opacity provide privacy into the rooms.
Environmentally Responsive Architecture
Its intentional displacement and stacking of building forms, combined with green facades, provide maximum comfort in Singapore’s tropical climate.

“Concertina” Facade
A 3-storey high sawtooth-like unitized curtain wall adds character to faculty buildings and divides up its infrastructure.
Sun Control
Horizontal sunshades and projected roof eaves protect the room from direct sunlight, resulting in better overall thermal control.

Lecture Pods
Individual pods are supported by stilt-like columns and are cladded with large pre-cast GRC panels clad with granite inserts, allowing for free-flow movement of people at pedestrian level.
Co-existing with nature
A scallop-shaped ceiling hovers above with a view of a growing foliage canopy along the building’s perimeter.

An eco-friendly campus shaping the minds of the future
